Hey everyone! We’re The Grux, San Antonio's premier Dave Matthews Tribute Band! Formed in 2023, our seven talented musicians capture the magic of DMB with electrifying performances that feature all the hits you love, deep cuts you might have forgotten, and even some classic ’80s anthems that’ll get you dancing!

Our bands’ name, "The Grux," is a nod to the Dave Matthews Band itself. As revealed in a 2009 interview by Carter Beauford, DMB's drummer, "Groo Grux," originated as both a nickname for their late saxophonist LeRoi Moore and a representation of the unique, energetic rhythms that defines the band's music. We aim to honor this legacy by delivering mesmerizing improvisational solos and a vibe that’s all about connection and fun! We promise you’ll feel the same energy as if you were at a real DMB show.

Backed by a fantastic stage crew, we’re dedicated to bringing you high-quality, authentic shows. Since January 2023, we’ve poured our passion into every performance, and we can’t wait to celebrate the music we all love with you!
